AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN

To meet our expanding market, Alotech is seeking an Automation Technician.

Role and Responsibilities

Assemble and repair complex automated machinery from and electrical and mechanical stand point.

  • Basic Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC ie ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PLC5, SLC500, MicroLogix
  • Experience with Siemens PLC troubleshooting
  • UL 508A Panel building
  • GE Fanuc Robot experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, and customer service skills
  • Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic
  • Able to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering and 2 years of experience in automation.
  • Working knowledge of the following: robotics, pneumatics, mold design, sensors, plastics, hydraulics, safety regulations, electrical wiring, packaging.
  • Knowledge of machine guarding a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

EXPERIENCED MACHINIST

Full time position open for an Experienced Machinist with the right attitude and skills.

Requirements:

  • Work with a team in a fast paced ever-changing environment.
  • Be a self-starter, able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Work from prints, sketches and verbal instructions.
  • Determine the order of operations for manual lathes/mills.
  • Inspect and be responsible for your work.
  • Learn how to operate
